Shared note

There is "an Act to Enable Patrick Blake, Efquire, a Minor, to make settlement on Annabella Bunbury, Spinfter, and the Iffue of their intended Marriage; and for other Purpofes therein mentioned." From what I understand, Sir Patrick Blake's will, dated March 5, 1743 or 1784?, at the time of his death named his son Andrew Blake his heir to the Monteferrat Estate but this son was since deceased. The will then said the items should go on to his male heirs. If there were none, the estate shouls go to his nephew, Edmund Blake nad/or his male heirs. Patrick was Sir Patrick Blake's grandson, and thus entitled to inherit the estate, but he was under 21 so an act needed to be established. The act concerns "a large Stock of Negroes, Mules, and divers Utenfils for working the faid plantations, and alfo of a confiderable perfonal Eftate." Dominick Trant, John Willet, George Leigh, and Peter Lynch were named executors.

Another Act in 1800 was made to pay daughter Barabara Ann Shea, Margaret Shea, and Henrietta Shea each 3000L (though it's not clear if Henrietta ever actaully received her due, Barabara and Margaret were paid in 1803). George Blake was paid 2000L, Mark Anthony Blake 500L, James Blake son of Ritta 700L, and Sarah Cookfedge 100L.
